The city of San Juan Capistrano the home of the "Mission Capistrano" and the famous swallows, is located 55 miles south of Los Angeles on I-5 Freeway, exit Camino Capistrano.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul has operated 2 thrift stores in the city of San Juan Capistrano for more than a quarter century. These stores are located ¼ mile from the mission and 1 ½ mile from the ocean on the main street of the old town and service the southernmost part of the county.
Donations are accepted at our thrift store located at 32252 Camino Capistrano from 9am to 4pm, Monday thru Saturday. These donations are offered for resale to the public and for distribution to the less fortunate. The better quality merchandise is put into our "Boutique" located 100 yards to the north of the thrift store. Every Saturday both stores run a 50% discount on all merchandise.
The St. Vincent de Paul conference located at the "Mission Capistrano" directs those in need to our thrift store for assistance.
The Society welcomes you to come and visit us. Make it a "Saturday Family Outing" Stop by for bargains in the morning, visit the "Mission" and top the day off by seeing our beautiful sunsets at the waters edge. |
